Brothers,

I wish to thank each and everyone of you for the support that you have afforded me during the first part of my tenure as Master of Granite 119. Looking around the lodge at each meeting, it is gratifying to be able to recognize so many of the Past Masters in attendance. My feeling has always been that a lodge is only successful if their is a good number of Past Masters present. This is where the experiences of the past enhances the present and makes for good and wholesome instruction for our labors. Thanks for being there WB’s.

By the time you read this, we should have made two Fellowcrafts and we plan on presenting the sublime degree of Master Mason in May.

Many of our lodge members participated in the Masonic Connecticut CHIP event during the Snoopy Fair at Haddam-Killingworth High School. For your dedication to this very worthwhile cause, I thank and congratulate you.

Soon the Masonic year will half over with our Awards Night and Picnic scheduled for the 4^th Wednesday in June. I am working on a baseball game night (New Britain) out for our families when I know when the "promotions" will be held. Those attending can get some neat gifts.

Have a safe and enjoyable summer and we have a welcome back picnic the first meeting in September.
